Aminata Traoré Morris grew up holding her American upbringing in one hand and her Senegalese roots in the other. Navigating two worlds taught her that identity is not something you choose it is something you honor.
ATM Artisan is how she brought those worlds together.
Raised within cultural richness through global travel, Aminata learned early that culture shapes perspective. Surrounded by layered traditions, vibrant textiles, and dynamic communities, she developed a deep appreciation for the artistry woven into everyday life. From fabric markets to modern city streets, she saw how design, color, and craftsmanship tell stories without words.
Her worldview became a careful balance of tradition and modernity, culture and ambition, artistry and intellect.
That balance is the foundation of ATM.
The name ATM is not just initials. It is a declaration. In a world that reduces everything to transaction, ATM Artisan stands as a reminder that culture, connection, and craft hold value beyond any price tag.
